Spring At Conkle’s Hollow

On a wonderful spring day Wednesday I
took a walk into Conkle’s Hollow State Park
to see what was in bloom there.
There were many wild flowers in bloom there
so the rest of the parks in the area will be
in bloom also.

The Ironwood seed heads of last fall will be shed
to make room for new growth and the seeds will
be future plants of gorgeous purple blooms of new
Ironwood plants for this Fall.

  2. Those are all beautiful. I hope you spot a Lady's Slipper soon. I have never seen but one real one many years ago. Helen
