I was just glad she stayed long enough for me to get the shot. There is a pair of them and they have been really shy of me.
Before moving to VA fr/NJ 6 yrs ago, I never saw a blue bird. They are beautiful.
I never saw one until I put up a bluebird box last Fall. This spring a pair moved in. I was thrilled and plan to put up more boxes this fall for next spring.
